The Camberwell Collective combines the warmth and character of a heritage building with thoughtfully designed consulting spaces that support independent practice. It offers an environment that feels calm, welcoming and established, creating a professional setting where both practitioners and clients can feel at ease.
Whether establishing a new practice or looking for a long-term professional home, the Collective provides a space that balances privacy, comfort and professionalism while retaining the unique character of its heritage setting.
One of the defining features of The Camberwell Collective is its established professional community. Many practitioners have remained part of the Collective for years, creating a stable community built on familiarity, trust and collaboration. Practitioners work alongside colleagues who value generosity, shared learning and genuine professional connection.
Peer supervision, internal referrals, networking opportunities and informal conversations over coffee or lunch form part of the rhythm of the Collective. Practitioners remain fully independent while benefiting from the relationships and shared knowledge that develop naturally over time.
Clinical supervision and private practice business mentoring are also available to support practitioners in navigating both the clinical and operational aspects of independent practice. Complimentary visibility is provided through the How Are You Hub website and internal digital displays.
As part of the broader How Are You Hub community, practitioners also have opportunities to connect with colleagues at Hawthorn Hub, extending professional networks across both locations.
Alongside its warmth and character, The Camberwell Collective provides the practical features that support the realities of independent practice.
Smart digital entry provides secure access for practitioners and clients. Two welcoming waiting areas, one bright and street-facing, the other quieter and more private - making the Collective particularly well suited to practitioners working with children, young people and families.
A fully equipped kitchen, undercover courtyard and secure storage support day-to-day practice. A portable testing table and additional chairs are also available as shared resources. An ADOS-2 assessment kit is also available for practitioner use.
Every consulting room includes high-speed Wi-Fi, a complete telehealth setup with monitor, camera and lighting, and basic printing to support both in-person and online appointments.
The Camberwell Collective is conveniently located at 790 Burke Road, Camberwell, with easy public transport and ample free street parking nearby.
